Bobby Moynihan, star of Saturday Night Live who was born and raised in Eastchester, was the guest bartender at Mickey Spillane's on  Sunday, November 20th.   Bobby donated the evening’s tips in support of the Community Fund of Bronxville, Eastchester and Tuckahoe.  We thank all who came out to support this fabulous event! 

 

Bobby starred in many productions in the Eastchester Schools as well as the Eastchester Youth Council, a Community Fund supported group.

$489,200 in Grants Allocated for 2011-2012
  At the June 1st Annual Meeting allocations were recommended and approved for  2011-2012 year.  The grants support over 26  agencies and numerous community projects addressing the social service needs of the Bronxville, Eastchester, and Tuckahoe communities.  The 25th  Annual Golf Outing 

A Great Success !!
With a beautiful sunny day as its backdrop, the 25th Anniversary of The Community Fund’s Annual Golf Outing proved to be a tremendous success!  The event, held for the second year running at Siwanoy Country Club in Bronxville, hosted 128 enthusiastic golfers who came out to enjoy a day of golf and camaraderie with friends and neighbors.  

The Community Fund’s golf outing was generously sponsored by over 150 local community supporters. Grand Sponsors were the Generosso Pope Foundation, Pepe Auto Group, The Raffiani Family Foundation, and The Rollins Agency, Inc.

EVAC’s Newest Ambulance Is Now In Service

   Rest assured, now that the brand new, state-of-the-art ambulance is at EVAC (Eastchester Volunteer Ambulance Corps). Funded totally by The Community Fund, this most recent addition joins the two other EVAC ambulances to ensure 24 hour/ 7 day a week emergency coverage. The Community Fund will continue to provide EVAC with new ambulances every three years to ensure that we have the latest and most dependable technology available.  

Health Care Proxy Program.

    A Health Care Proxy Program is supported by The Community Fund. The proxy helps your family and friends understand your wishes about care should you be in a physical state in which you cannot communicate your wishes directly.
