President's Letter 2009

Dear Friends and Neighbors,

We are proud to present our Annual Report to the Community describing the contributions of The Community Fund of Bronxville Eastchester Tuckahoe, Inc. during the period July 1, 2008 – June 30, 2009. Special thanks to Tom Likovich, last year’s President, and his able Board for their hard work and enthusiastic support of the Fund and the programs we support.

 We also wish to thank the entire community for their generosity during a difficult year. Your support of the Fund and the vital programs in our community – really made a difference to so many! This past spring, The Community Fund was pleased to provide over $521,000 in grants.  Your contributions provided support for over 30 social service agencies and numerous community initiatives which benefit the Bronxville, Eastchester and Tuckahoe communities.  Your support helps the young and the old, students needing guidance, families dealing with medical and substance abuse problems, the disabled needing support and socialization, to name a few.

 This year The Community Fund is celebrating its 90 year old heritage, and our community’s future. We want to honor the energy, enthusiasm and boundless generosity of our donors and the agencies we support. We have a unique opportunity to give where we live, and we intend to be a more visible part of our community than ever before.
